Teresa Belcher Owens

I moved to Los Angeles, California in 1979. I worked in the Banking Industry for a couple of years then left to work in the AeroSpace Industry (Rockwell International) until gettin laid off. I then wanted to travel so I starting working at TWA and was able to travel to such places as Rome, Paris, London, Japan, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Hawaii just to name a few places I've traveled. TWA closed their doors so I went to United Airlines and worked in the Beverly Hills Ticket Office. I continued traveling and decided to get my Real Estate license because the internet was getting more popular with our customers and Real Estate was also a dream I wanted to fulfill. United Airlines closed all Ticket Offices in 2001 so Real Estate became my full time job. I still love to travel and help others with their travel plans so I became a Travel Agent. My husband and I have a Custom Silkscreening business in Hollywood, CA. so that allows me to concentrate on my business and go through the ups and downs.

I remember one summer everyone was hanging out across the street at the park and I looked up and saw the Prinicpal and the police crossing the street to make everyone go back to class. Everybody started running and I saw my uncle because he was one of the policemen, but thank God I got in school without him seeing me.
